Ducks Unlimited: Our Mission

Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit more than 900 species of other wildlife. Ducks Unlimited has become the world leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation. Thanks to decades of abiding by that single mission, Ducks Unlimited is now the world’s largest and most effective private waterfowl and wetlands conservation organization. Ducks Unlimited has conserved more than 13,000,000 acres since 1937. a.

 Also Ducks Unlimited has influenced or conserved more than 104,000,000 acres in North America

On Average, Ducks Unlimited, for every single day since it’s formation, has conserved 475 acres and influenced and conserved over 3,800 acres (nearly 6 square miles). THAT IS EVERY DAY FOR 75 YEARS.

This is an amazing fact that all who support Ducks Unlimited should be very proud. The work being done at the local, state and national levels are very important and we must keep protecting waterfowl and wetlands. Support this effort be joining and participating in Ducks Unlimited. See link below.
